Big news! Our search engine ranking is really starting to improve on both Google and Yahoo searches. We’ve also been researching how to write a professional press release, so we’ll be sending one of those (maybe more) to some major media outlets this weekend to help drive more traffic to the site.

Also, we’re seriously considering sending out our first trial run of envelopes to all of our current users this month. Hang in there with us! We’re moving towards exciting times for Postage-Paid!

Postage-Paid now officially has users in 5 different U.S. states. If you know anyone else who might be interested, please feel free to click on our “Recommend Us To A Friend” link and help spread the word.

Also, in other news, we’ve recently been in contact with one of the executive producers of the TV show Tech Closeup , who might be interested in doing a piece that would include none other than Postage-Paid! We’ll let you know if we get any more details of that from Tech Closeup.

We’re also about to start sending out some more formalized press releases to other media outlets. We’ll see what all sorts of interest we can generate.

So I’ve been working a little bit to try to get the word out. I’ve created a MySpace profile for us (http://www.myspace.com/postagepaidnet) and I’ve submitted a story idea to our pals over at Lifehacker. We’ll see if they decide to pick us up. That would definitely help to get the ball rolling and help us get some users coming through the door. Other ideas for spreading the word are currently in the works. Stay tuned.
